EAA accessibility reports, without the blank page.

AnnexFive turns your WCAG 2.1 AA test results into an accessibility conformance report mapped to EN 301 549 and the service information Annex V of the European Accessibility Act asks for — for small SaaS and e-commerce teams selling to EU consumers.

Problem01 / 07

Why it hurts today

  1. P-01

The European Accessibility Act has applied to services provided to EU consumers since 28 June 2025, including e-commerce. Service providers must explain how their service meets the accessibility requirements, in their terms and conditions or an equivalent document.

  2. P-02

Writing the report is slow and specialised. Every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion and EN 301 549 clause needs a conformance level and a remark that a reviewer can check, and most teams start from an empty template.

  3. P-03

Paying for it is uneven. One agency publicly lists $650 just to write an EN 301 549 edition report, with the audit priced separately — a lot for a small team that has to update it with every release.

Solution02 / 07

What AnnexFive does

  • Mapped criterion by criterion

Every WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA success criterion, linked to the matching EN 301 549 clause 9 requirement, with a conformance level and a remark for each.

    B-01
  • Import, don't retype

Bring in results from automated checkers and record your manual tests. Each finding stays linked to the criterion and the page or screen it affects.

    B-02
  • Versioned with your product

Update the report when you ship, keep the history, and regenerate the public accessibility information from the same source of truth.

    B-03

Process03 / 07

How it works

  1. Step 1: Define the scope

List the website, web app or store flows you provide to consumers: pages, screens, checkout, account area.

  2. Step 2: Record the results

Import automated scan output and complete the manual checks, criterion by criterion, with evidence.

  3. Step 3: Review the remarks

Check each conformance level and remark, and note known limitations and planned fixes in plain language.

  4. Step 4: Export and publish

Download the conformance report (PDF, DOCX, HTML) and a draft accessibility statement for your review.

FAQ06 / 07

Questions, answered

Q01 Does AnnexFive make my service compliant?

No. AnnexFive helps you document the testing you do and present it clearly. It does not test your site for you, certify anything or guarantee conformity, and it is not legal advice. Accessibility depends on how your service is built and on the testing behind each claim; for legal questions, talk to a qualified adviser.

Q02 My company is very small. Do I need this?

Possibly not. Under Article 4(5) of Directive (EU) 2019/882, microenterprises providing services are exempt from the service accessibility requirements. Article 3(23) defines a microenterprise as one employing fewer than 10 persons with an annual turnover or annual balance sheet total not exceeding €2 million. If that is you, you may not need AnnexFive for the EAA — check your situation before buying. Customers or resellers may still ask you for a report.

Q03 Is this a VPAT?

VPAT is a registered service mark of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), which publishes the VPAT template, including an EU edition for EN 301 549. AnnexFive is not affiliated with or endorsed by ITI. It produces an accessibility conformance report organised the same way, criterion by criterion, which is the format buyers often ask for.

Q04 Which standards does it cover?

Web content against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA, mapped to clause 9 of EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which reflects WCAG 2.1. EN 301 549 is being revised for the EAA; we will follow the published versions. AnnexFive does not include the text of the standards.

Q05 What about national rules, for example in Italy?

The Act is a directive, so each member state transposes it into national law — Italy did so with Legislative Decree 82/2022, and AgID has published guidelines on the accessibility of services. Details such as the authority, the format of information and penalties differ by country. AnnexFive helps you prepare the documentation; it does not interpret national law for you.

Q06 Where is my data stored?

Your reports are private to your team. We are building AnnexFive to host data in the EU, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and never share your reports or use them to train models. You will be able to export and delete everything at any time.

Q07 When will it be available?

AnnexFive is in development. We are onboarding a small group of founding teams first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when there is something to try.

Q08 Can I pre-order?

Yes. A pre-order charges the first month (€39) upfront. If AnnexFive doesn't launch, you get a full refund, and you can ask for a full refund at any time before delivery, for any reason; we process refunds within 14 days.
